What bus can I get to Heuston stn? Would I need to get a bus into town and then one down to Heuston or is there a bus near Templeogue that can get me close enough? I've got to collect my g/f there at 5.15. Woops. Should have looked into this earlier. Any help would be great.

    Cheers.

If you are anywhere near a 17 bus stop in Rathfarnham you could get one to the terminus in Rialto & get a LUAS (2 minute walk) from there to Heuston. The only problem there is the 17 isn't that frequent.

yeah, I don't think it'll arrive in time. That bus is like a ghost. If I got a bus to central bank, how long of a walk am I talking about? I could hop off at christchurch

Get the bus into the city centre and get the LUAS from Abbey St./Jervis/Busaras to Heuston?

From Christchurch would prob be about 10 min brisk walk, allow 15 to be safe.

Or get a bus from Wellington Quay (outside Workmans Pub, near Clarence Hotel) all will leave you around Heuston, 3 or 4 minutes on buslane.
