Simple stop eating sugar. Sugar highs = sugar lows = you craving sugar.
Give it up (as much as is possible )- keep you sugar levels static, feel good all the time

agree with the above. If you are having carvings try eating some fruit or extra dark chocolate.

When I do give it up I feel better but once I go back to it the cycle starts again!

Cup of peppermint tea does the trick for me. Don't know why

I hate it but dark chocolate might do the trick. I will try and post back.

as already mention it’s a vicious circle,

Eat high sugar => feel crap & high insulin => Low sugar => feel even worse and sugar cravings. Try and break the cycle, protein can make us feel content or a teaspoon of coconut fat can be good to stop cravings.

Then don’t get back on sugar train

Definitely a viscous cycle. I found dark chocolate has too much sugar in it, anything less than 90% anyway!

Try chromium GTF, (not polynicotinate or picolinate), works an absolute treat on sugar cravings.

Alternatively get your sugar from fruit (not juice). Granny smith apples are a great way to kill junkfood cravings.

Not sure you can get GTF in a shop in Ireland, the reason I only recommend that form is that it not bound to niacin, which is a supplement whose safety record is questionable long term.

I buy mine from iherb.com, great service and quick and cheap delivery. 200mg is perfectly safe, some say up to 1,000mg is safe but I think it's always wise to stick with a dose you could reasonable get from food if you plan taking it long term.
