Ride to work scheme - canyon

    Hey all,
I bought a canyon through my company and got the ride to work deduction off it last year. My mum wants a racer and works for the Dept of Ed, is there any way she can get a canyon on the scheme as the specs seem real good for the price ?

    Any help is appreciated.

That's a question for the Dept of Ed.

Where's the pickle? - as suggested above, just ask the Dept of Ed. There's nothing in the rules to stop this, but they can decide whether to impose any restrictions on what can be bought and from where

being a civil service department, i think the department of education will be limited to suppliers listed on the OPW's list of approved suppliers

As you can see, canyon isn't on there, though other non Irish web-based suppliers like chain reaction and wiggle are, so there would nothing to stop canyon applying to become a supplier. I suppose it's a case of whether they could be bothered doing this. I'm sure it would be worth there while as there would be a lot more (besides your mum) that would be interested in using them.
