Will I be charged for delivery seperately?

Hi all, I have just purchased a Christmas decoration from a UK site (cost £9.95). On the delivery page, it said that the delivery charge would be based on size and weight, but when I went to the final page, there was no delivery charge added. I paid that total with my credit card and it has hit my account already. On the receipt I received, it says:
‘Shipping Overseas (To be confirmed based on size/weight) – Ireland’
I am just wondering, can they process another payment for delivery without my consent? Or would they have to contact me before charging my card again? I don’t want to get stuck with a huge delivery charge and I would rather cancel if that was the case. It’s a bit strange as when I have previously bought online, the delivery charges would be upfront.

    What site?

They would have to contact your first, they can't just keep taking money off your card

Thanks, I thought as much. I have emailed them and they have replied that they will contact me with shipping costs and give me the chance to cancel. Seems a strange way to do it, especially when they have charged my card straight away.
