Tactics for a 5 mile run (limerick women's mini-marathon)?

    Take it relatively easy for the first 3 and try to turn the gas on for the final 2?. Been doing 2-5 miles 6-7 days a week plus a little cycling.

    Figure out your target pace. Run at that pace for the first three miles. If you are feeling good after that, crank it up a little bit. At the four mile mark, crank it up a little bit more. With half a mile to go, turn the dial up to 11. When you can see the finish line, run like you have Bolt hanging off your shoulder.
