I've just logged into my PAYE Anytime account for the first time in over a year and for 2012, it states I have 2 tax credits: PAYE Tax Credits and Personal Tax Credits. The amount for each is 4 figures, and the status appears to be 'claimed'. What I want to know is, what exactly do these refer to? I have not 'claimed' any…

What I want to know is, what exactly do these refer to? I have not 'claimed' any tax since September of 2011 so I'm a little confused as to what this is.

Any advice appreciated.
