    Hi Guys,

I have 2 questions you might be able to help me with

1: Is there any free shower facilities in DCU? I'm not a member of the gym and they charge 2€/shower. I thought the sports hall showers were available in previous years but they have changed the layout and are not assessible anymore. There is showers in club 1838 but they are always out of service.

2: If one were to be extremely cheap and bring in his own tea bags where would one source hot water?

    Thanks

There are showers in the Sports Science area in the Science building... Downstairs, through the door on the left. Second corridor on the right (first has a door, this one doesn't) then the next right. Unsure if they're meant to be used by just anyone, but they aren't locked up, and I've used them once or twice.
Unsure about the hot water. Only place I can think of is the Redbrick/Engineering Society common room in the Physics building, but you have to be a member of one of these societies to use it. There's also the postgraduate room in the same building, but you're meant to be a postgrad to use it, and they don't look kindly on undergrads using it.

You can make your own tea and coffee for free in the Interfaith building. They've a wee kitchen in there and you just go in and boil the kettle and fire away!
