Intially thought this was silly but actually it is a legitimate concern marketing wise:

As it regards Mania 30, they have to have all promotional material and building rentals done by March of 2013, so whatever their decision is going to be (Madison Square Garden versus another building), they have five months to make it. Regarding what we wrote last week about "WrestleMania 30" vs. "WrestleMania XXX," and whether they'd use "XXX" in the PG era, this has been a matter of discussion internally, particularly since there is talk of running Los Angeles, where "XXX" would not go unnoticed. At this point the idea is that they use numbers for all of the shows except the ten-year anniversary events – WrestleMania X, WrestleMania XX, and, obviously, WrestleMania XXX. But because "XXX" is so associated with pornography, there is talk of billing it as "WrestleMania 30" instead.

Wrestlemania XXX sounds like something Chyna would be involved in.

Super Bowl XXX was grand back in 96. It's hilarious but entirely plausible that WWE would be too scared to use perfectly fine roman numerals for fear of being mistaken.

But Wrestlemania is the biggest sports entertainment extravaganza in the world Jayk.
Who cares tbh, XXX was also the name of a painfully average action movie starring Vin Diesel about 10 years ago.
Oh and Jesse Neal sucked in Tna.

Im so glad we dont use those roman numerals for the all ireland finals and champos.

If I were advising I'd tell them to go with the number 30. Branding is so important in the modern market place, especially when you're aiming your product at children.
