The OH was looking for one of these, that is a great price.

Anyone know if any of the cork tescos has one. Might try Douglas later

Careful though - I tried to buy one of these from CompuB a few months ago and they swore to me that for some reason it doesn't work with the new iPad (though the original and iPad2 are OK). Anyone confirm/deny this?

Just got the last seven in Clare Hall, get them shifted on eBay & that's Xmas sorted.

    :)

Only kidding. None there, got one of the girls to check but she thought some of the staff bought them.

it's working perfectly on new ipad - see!

need to check it out further but if there is an app where lots of typing is required then it is quite comfortable to use and very responsive. seems to be a number of shortcuts built in, but i haven't had a chance to figure it out fully yet.

can only be used in portrait mode though, so that is a limiting factor for general usage. but for €17 how can you go wrong. At the very least it'll look nice on your desk....

can hook up charger and speakers to it too...

Just curious has anyone else spotted these around the place or is it just Galway?

If anyone is able to get a spare one, ill happily re-imburse them for it

The OH just picked up 2 in Douglas.. I'll find out if there are others there from her.

Edit: Looks like they were the last ones in Douglas

There was at least 5/6 keyboards in Tesco Douglas this morning. I looked myself but already have the Incase Origami + BT keyboard combo so didn't bother with it.

Why would anyone want one ? It's so counter intuitive to have a keyboard without a mouse. You end up typing with one hand and touching the screen with the other. It also doesn't hold the ipad horizontally ! ,
I've had it work for months as I Test on the ipad but hate the yoke. I only use it to hold the ipad up lol.
But I suppose at the price you'll not lose too much on it.

No such luck I'm afraid. They had 4 or 5 yesterday so I assume they were snapped up today. Sorry mate.

I've a had a quick think about this and decided I don't want a keyboard ... but if I did, I think I would go for this ...

I forget the status on ebuyer and deliveries but pretty decent price, if you want a keyboard :-)

^ I actually have one of those at home, but have never used it.

Am thinking the rubber keys might be a bit of a nuisance to be honest.

Those are aplenty on the usual HK web sites, DX etc.
Regarding delivery from eBuyer we now have ParcelMotel....
