I hadn't seen a thread on this so thought I should start one.

Anyway, anybody else planning on going to this?

I had won tickets to the original date but haven't heard anything back from the people I won them from since the date was re-scheduled. Think I'll head along anyway regardless.

As far as I know, the tickets for the original date are still valid for the re-scheduled one.

Yeah defo heading along to this.

The new album is good in a kinda lo-fi way but 100 Acres Of Sycamore is one of the finest records made by any Irish artist over the last 20 years or longer probably, pure genius. He show in the Pepper Cannister Church, just him his guitar and those songs was something to behold, if its half as good as that it will still be mighty.

It's a guestlist thing, and they haven't contacted me since, but I'll be going anyway.

long time FR fan but I didnt really think it was one of his best shows. The sound wasnt all that great, the strings way too low in the mix, the set list didnt seem to be that well paced, the between song banter of what there was just nervous murmers you could hear a pin drop when he thought he was funnier than he actually was. Speaking of pins dropping when all of a sudden did he just gather this middle aged MOR boring looking unenthusiastic fanbase at his gigs. Two years ago he sold out Vicar St. and people went mental for him that night. Lost Brothers awesome as ever though.
