Hey, anybody here a member of the above gym at the moment?

Recently moved to the Ranelagh area and looking to join a gym and this seems to be the obvious choice. Just wondering if ye think it's value for money, are there any catches to the relatively cheap membership?? Any relevant info would be greatly appreciated,

I'm with the Flyefit at the moment however I do all my workouts in the mornings so I can't comment how busy that place gets in the evening time.
Small weights room , much larger cardio area.
Cant say much about the instructors/gym staff because simply I don't know any of them.
They offer different type of classes but I never attended any of them ,you'd get charged extra for those though.

The best thing to do is to try it before you commit to a membership .

    Cheers for the quick reply.
Ya I reckon it's probably packed in the evenings, but that's the same in most gyms i suppose.
I might try it out some day soon, probably the best thing to do. Thanks again.

Would love to hear a few different opinions about the place too...

Me too. Anyone know just how busy it gets in the evening and whether it's the kind of place a complete gym novice wouldn't feel totally out of place?

I try to make it in the morning as much as I can because it can be packed after work 6 - 8 but that's every gym. I mostly use the free weights area which is busy in the evening. It's better suited for cardio and I'm pretty sure the classes are free, you sign up on the website.

It's not great. I went for a tour of the place a few months back and was told it gets jammers from 5-8.

3 Oly bars, 1 squat rack, no fancy toys and not a whole lot of floor space...

If you're a cardio bunny you'll love it. If you lift weights and want a bit of leg room then look elsewhere.
