Hi there, Im looking for some advice please! I am currently in my second year teaching. Last year my contract was for 2 different centres run by the same VEC.This suited me fine as it only amounted to 12 hours so I needed all I could get! However this year I have gotten extra hours in one centre and still only have the 1 hour 20 mins in the second centre. My question is that I think I could get even more hours in my main centre if I didnt have to drive over to the second. Can I leave one of the centres and stay in one if the original contract was for the two?
I would appreciate any advice :)

You are contracted to the scheme and can be deployed in whatever manner they like so I don't think you can. It might be worth discussing with the principal.

They may be reluctant as it would be difficult to fill a post for 1.5hours.

Is time spent travelling included in your timetable? It should be.
