I asked this a few weeks ago :D

It's a cover you can put over the front of your car to protect the paintwork.

Horrible looking things (no offence OP)

The US is likely to be the only place to get one of those.

You could just wrap the tip of the bonnet in vinyl if you can't find one...

@ ghogie91, why are you respraying your bonnet if you're going to cover it up with one of those skangery looking yokes? Might as well save your money and not bother with the respray

A couple of stonechips on a bonnet won't reduce the price of a car by the cost of the bonnet bra, never mind anything else.

is this part or the felt spec culture or something new?

Would it not make a colour difference over a long time? The bits exposed to the sun & weather will be slightly different shade to the covered bits.

Idiotic yokes, on a par with fitting nasty seat covers to a new car so that the next owner can enjoy the original upholstery unworn.

Mcg auto styling in kells could probably help you out

I hate those ones that make the headlamps look bigger than they really are. You take it off and you see the real deal. Disappointment.

I'd imagine you could take it off when there's nobody looking to even out your paintwork :p

They're used moreso on show cars rather than daily drivers. No point in using one everyday imo
