How much wrestling do you watch a week (on average?)

The WWE seem to be quite concerned about ratings at the moment with the numbers dropping, and I noticed on the latest Raw thread that some people were saying they weren't watching of late and just read up on the results.

I'm curious to see what the ratings are on the board so to speak so I've done a little poll. How much wrestling would you usually watch a week?

Myself, I would watch Raw and Smackdown and also NXT when it's on late on Sky. The other WWE shows I don't usually look at, although I'd catch them the odd time. TNA/Impact Wrestling I don't see.

How about yourselves? What, if anything, makes your schedule? Is your interest in wrestling dropping, or the same as always?

I watched wrestling religiously up until about 2002.
Over the last decade I have gone from never missing it .... to just reading the results ... to actually not caring what happens in WWE anymore (recent times)

WWE is just so boring these days. The same old crap.

I don’t watch or follow wrestling at all
I read the results/read posts here but mainstream wrestling isn't doing it for me lately and I'm not enough of a fan to follow the indies. I usually zone back in around Rumble time though.

Havent watched a single Raw in months, just keeping up by having a quick scan on Wwe.com/ this forum the day after Raw. Dont care for any other wrestling shows. Those 5 minute raw recaps on youtube were perfect :(

Ill prob start watching raw again around royal rumble/christmas time.

I'm a hardcore fan! I watch Raw, Smackdown and NXT each week!
Outside of WWE I occasionally watch Impact (It's usually crap storyline wise). I dabble in watching ROH (I find it hard to be 2 weeks behind on Youtube)

    Smackdown
However long Raw is when you fast forward through matches.

More if a Botchamania goes up...

I watch Raw every Tuesday on Youtube, watch Impact on Tuesday nights on Challenge too.Don't have Sky anymore so it's a pain trying to watch NXT and Vintage Collection regularly, especially the way WWE have been taking videos down from Youtube and Dailymotion of late.

Usually watch some WWE stuff on Netflix too, watched ECW Unreleased and the Falls Count Anywhere DVD's this week.

I watch wrestling by tape delay via sky+. Watch impact every week, stopped watching Raw this week cause I felt I watched so little of it by ffwd I couldn't justify taping it, Smackdown and NXT I don't bother cause nothing ever happens on them really.

Will usually watch RAW although my viewing has become more infrequent since the move to three hours. I haven't watched Smackdown in months. I watch IMPACT the odd time but not regularly.

Other than that I watch a lot of old stuff on the net, as well as any good matches from other promotions that people on here recommend. I also have a decent DVD collection, so I like going back rewatching things.

I usually only watch Raw if there is a decent segment/botch/match and generally go off the reports here.

Never watch Smackdown and going from reports here, it's probably best avoided anyway.

I watch Impact and can get through most of the show without forwarding so it's not too bad.

I've only recently took a proper look at NXT and think I'll make that a regular from now on.

I generally tend to watch documentaries and shoot interviews a lot more as opposed to the weekly shows. I find the stories in them more interesting than anything that happens on the shows themselves.

I have a pretty extensive DVD collection too so will dip into that once or twice a week depending on how busy I am.

    Vintage Collection
I watch RAW and Smackdown via sky plus (no adverts). Skim NXT and Superstars through sky plus.

fast forward through Big Show all the time, unless Mark Henry is involved.

I generally get through RAW (how much of it varies) every week, not a hope for the rest of WWE or TNA's programming. I do listen to multiple wrestling podcasts per week to keep up to date and check the news every day. I'll also watch some kind of old school PPV/show/doc from the 90s or 00s during the week. Like this week was a Vintage Collection on the inVasion, CM Punk's docu, and also Taker's old docu "This is My Yard". And some WM6 as well.

i might download raw and skip through it quickly or just read results. the only ppv i watch live and in full is Wrestlemania. mad considering i used to watch raw, sd and every ppv over the weekend.

gone are the days of apache pizza and raw with friends on a fri night! with stone cold raising hell

I've only recently gotten Sky back in after a 7 year absence and I'm surprised at the amount of wrestling on between both TNA and WWE.

You can find something on from one of them at least every night which is good if you find yourself hopping around channels. What nights is vintage collection on? Haven't come across it yet.

I always try watch Raw. Sometimes I stay up and a mate comes over a watches it too then sometimes I'll record it and get around to it.

I can't remember the last time I watched Smackdown, an odd gripe I have with it is those fake crowd noises. Just really annoys me.

Now and again Impact comes on when I am channel surfing and I will give it the odd watch.

Bar Raw, the only other wrestling I watch is just youtube clips(Botchamania to 5 star matches)

How someone can manage to watch all WWEs shows is beyond me.

I used to watch Raw regularly and Smackdown often but I find Im just looking up YouTube if there's anything that seems interesting lately. The idea of three hours of Raw is just too much even though it ends at the same time. Smackdown on a Friday night with a few beers if I wasn't going out used to be good but I've not been able to watch it as much of late. Try and watch/stream the PPVs if I can.

I believe it's shown around 5 pm on one of the weekdays. Usually tucked away on Sky Sports 3 or 4.

On the poll, I'm quite surprised at the number of people on the board that are turning or have turned away from wrestling. Very interesting. I'm particularly interested in how few are watching Smackdown in particular. I guess I figured with Sheamus on top now Irish fans were watching for him, if nothing else.

Sheamus is on Raw too every week.

Cant stand wwe these days. Far to many wrestlers I hate and gimmicks that irritating me to no end

I think the 3hrs is the worse decision they've done in years.

True, and I guess people could watch his matches from SD on Youtube if they wanted. Maybe that's what I should be doing too now that I think of it. :D

I watch Impact every week and thats all. I will however skim through Raw and watch random matches from other companies so voted them also. Impact is the only thing I watch in full though.

I've also been watching Saturday Morning Slam since it came out, I think it's very interesting. Anyway, I'm logging off here now, it's distracting me from watching wrestling.

Ive grown out of wrestling in the past few years. Nothing interests me anymore in it. Awful storylines, uninteresting characters, just lost the buzz for it completely. I keep up with results the odd time, maybe once a month or 2 or so I check out the website, but haven't watched a raw in about a year or so. Alas, Im in my mid twenties, think its time to let one of my childhood pastimes finally go for good :(

Haven't watched any other wrestling show in years, last time I watched smackdown was maybe 2006/2007. yes, really. I have no clue what happened on smackdown around then, considering there was no references during those years to their storylines on raw during those years I think.

    Smackdown
I watched both Raw and Smackdown up until Raw went to 3 hours every week. Now it's just Raw, haven't time for anything else.

Same. Only got back into watching wrestling the past year and already growing tired of it :/

Everything listed except for Vintage Collection. Freely admit to not watching all of Raw and Smackdown as it is pretty formulaic and there is so many repeat matches. Like Jayk I listen to a lot of podcasts so if anyone says anything interesting or funny on commentary I will hear about it there instead. Heavily suggest reading this blog during the week: http://prowresblog.blogspot.ie/ to ascertain whether a show has anything interesting going on.

There is no real average week for me just depends what shows up. Puro fans this year will what I am talking about there. But things can vary a lot for example 3 weeks ago I watched all 3 nights of CHIKARA King of Trios in a weekend as I didn't want to avoid spoilers anymore. This week is another biggie the CM Punk Blu Ray, the New Japan PPV (which I am crying salty tears over being in work now & not being able to watch it LIVE as we speak) and PWG Battle Of Los Angeles.

Yeah dvds or the Internet i'd watch another 2hrs if someone posted a match in the video thread or I read a recemmondation. I got a few dvds a few weeks back but binge around holidays.

I don’t watch but I do check on the results
Normally its Raw, Smackdown and the new Main Event for me each week tho I do skip some promo's (AJ+Del Boro+Cena) and some matches (Diva's+Tensai). Some Docu's and the OSW reviews would be much higher on my priority list tho

At this stage its mostly Kane & D Bryan and the other Tag Team stuff that has me watching WWE.

    Smackdown
Regarding Smackdown, superstars wise it's basically Raw without the biggest stars (Cena never appears on it, Punk rarely). It used to be that there were some wrestlers I had to watch Smackdown for (Sheamus, Bryan for example) but now I can see them on Raw anyway so there is nothing unique about Smackdown anymore.

i don't manage to catch impact everyweek partly cos tna always annoy me somehow. i'll watch raw. if i miss smackdown i find afterburn quite decent as a highlight package. vintage i used to enjoy as the raw lead in on a monday now i don't chase it down to watch it

Not a lot at the moment. I'm on a break from WWE although I will catch up on the
    Vince/Punk
match from this weeks Raw, just cause it's
    Vince
    .

TNA I have loved for the most part of the year but i've found myself skipping through parts of Impact the last couple of months, so after Bound For Glory I may be taking a complete break from watching wrestling altogether and instead restrict to just listening to the LAW and lurking around here for news.

I'm just thinking about doing other stuff with my life right now so wrestling will take a back seat and I probably wont post on here as much as I have done the last 2 years although it's pretty damn addictive.
