So who was the Boards driver of the day?

Vettel was faultless at the front. Massa made use of a great strategy to take his first podium in two years. Kobayashi finished on the rostrum for the first time in his career. Riciardo did well to hold off Schumi for the last point

For me it has to be Kamui Kobayashi, great start and career best finish. More importantly is how he finished the race, no mistakes and kept calm, even with all the pressure Button was putting him under.

    Jenson Button
I voted Webber. Done very well to grind out some points after being 23rd & stuck behind the whole grid. Very good drive, though clearly frustrated after it.

As nice as it was to see Kamui on the podium, he actually didn't have that much to do in the race...keeping Button behind was a bit of excitement, but not much. In terms of racing/driving, Webber wins out.

Honorable mentions to Massa & Schumacher.

Agreed. Massa was looking especially relieved in the interview on BBC after the race. Good to see him back where he belongs.

Also didn't expect Schumacher to make up 12 places during the race. Thought he'd sneak 10th at the end, but no joy. Good drive all the same though.

Had to go for Alonso...(technically Kimi - and YES I am being nasty). Nice to see that his sh!t smells on occasion too.

I chose Kamui, he did well to put his Sauber on the 2nd row and equally well to keep it on the podium. Webber was a close 2nd, with Massa 3rd.

Went for MSC. Good consistent drive and a shame he didn't get a point.

Alonso because his wider-than-Suzuka-track ego made him spun off AND stole the engine -championship is more exciting now.

Koby for the fairytale podium result at home, and seeing your favoured team mate in the gravel. Hope that confirms him for next year and Massa too.

Fecking Spaniards coming over here and stealing our engines!
