    Hi,
We're thinking of buying a house in swords and have been looking in castleview and seatown. Does anyone know what these estates are like and which one would be better to live in?

There are 2 parts of Seatown, Old and New. I've been in the new part for nearly 20 years (it's not that new anymore) and it's pleasant, quiet and neighbourly. That seems to be consistent for the 5 separate estates in the area. Most of the residents have been there a while but there are also many young families moving in and as a result the area is now filling up with kids and youngsters again for the first time since i was one myself. They seem like nice enough kids too. Most houses there are owned rather than rented.

Obviously I'm biased in my opinion cos I live there and grew up there but I suppose you were looking for the views of a resident anyway.
