I think I may go with this netbook. Does anyone know where I can buy the newest version of it at the cheapest price? I'm looking for more than 1GB of RAM if possible.

Microsoft doesn't allow manufacturers to sell netbooks with more than 1 GB RAM, you'll have to upgrade yourself.

How much would that cost approx?

I thought I saw a new Acer Aspire One 10" with 3GB RAM but I must have misunderstood!

Most likely. Netbooks have 1 memory slot that usually doesn't take more than 2 GB.

The current model Acer Aspire One D270 costs €250 at LD. Don't get fooled by "max memory capacity 8 GB", that's a mistake on LD's part, the AOD270 can't take more than 2 GB.

BTW, the ASUS Eee X101CH with the very same specs and battery life costs €220 at Argos.
