A lot of online business have jingles now, such as 123.ie, webuyanycar.com and GoCompare.

If boards.ie should have a jingle, what words should it have and what should it sound like? Heck, anyone who is musically gifted, upload a possible jingle to somewhere and post it here!

If youve got a questiobn ,
    No matter how silly ,
    Come to after hours,
And get blasted by a willy?

If boards.ie had a jingle comparable to go compare and other such shíte, I would immediately abandon the site.

And if you are musically gifted, you are not exactly going to settle for "writing" jingles.

It should be in the same vein as the NRC Taxi ad on the Radio

"if yer headin' to McGraths or up to yer Ma's"
"if yer goin' shoppin' or a disco boppin' 6 Double 7 Double 2 Double 2"

    Lyrical genius.

After Hours—it's the forum whose name you'd love to touch...
    But, you musn't touch!
Its name sounds good in your ear,
But when you say it, you mustn't fear Because its name can be said by anyone!

It should be done to the tune of "Cant touch this" by MC Hammer.

Do you look for answers for everything in life,
Like how to fix a car or make love to your wife,
Do you try your best to get yourself a bargain?
Or what you think suits best with your brand new cardigan?
So many forums, to choose what you require,
On your mobile, PC or Amazon's new fire,
So if you need an answer while you're out walking,
    Choose boards.ie, now ye're talking

    You never claimed copyright :p

First thing I did on my songwriting blog is claim all content to be the copyright of ME! :pac:

Yeah Im not sure how legal that is .I think you have to get a publisher or a solicitor or something .

    Now I'm no rich lawyer, but I think it's similar to this;

You have to shout, "I Declare COPYRIGHT!" really loudly. Similar to this -

Once it was your creation or idea, as far as I'm concerned it is your property.

If not, someone could take one of my songs, record it as their own, and I would be able to do nothing. That doesn't sound right does it?

(btw, I don't mean to sound patronising :o)

    (b) the work is the subject of Government or Oireachtas copyright,

    (c) the work is the subject of the copyright of a prescribed international organisation, or

    (d) the copyright in the work is conferred on some other person by an enactment.

    (2) Where a work, other than a computer program, is made by an author in the course of employment by the proprietor of a newspaper or periodical, the author may use the work for any purpose, other than for the purposes of making available that work to newspapers or periodicals, without infringing the copyright in the work.

    (b) to make available to the public the work;

    (c) to make an adaptation of the work or to undertake either of the acts referred to in paragraph (a) or (b) in relation to an adaptation,

and those acts shall be known and in this Act referred to as “acts restricted by copyright”.

    (2) The copyright in a work is infringed by a person who without the licence of the copyright owner undertakes, or authorises another to undertake, any of the acts restricted by copyright.

    (3) References to the undertaking of an act restricted by the copyright in a work shall relate to the work as a whole or to any substantial part of the work and to whether the act is undertaken directly or indirectly.

    Boards.ie it'll make you laugh
    Boards.ie it'll make you cry
    Boards.ie it's full of c*nts.
Boards.ie it'll make you despair for the future of our country given the amount of sh*te you'll read on it from ignorant self-important d*ckheads who say things like "Makes me ashamed to be Irish." or "I'm not even racist but....."
Boards.ie you'll really hate yourself after wasting a whole night arguing against people whose opinion doesn't matter to you at all but for some reason you just can't let it go can you? For f*ck's sake you really should find something more productive to do with your time you idiot.

    [Bongo solo]

    All together now - BOARDS.IE!!!!!!

(This jingle applied to After Hours only)

No, because 'cant touch this' is easily substituted with the banned '...........piss' line.
