Do we still hate them after the cheating incident or are they a great bunch of lads?

First I heard about "we" hating them. The retards who read, and are influenced by, the jingoistic Irish-hating, French-hating, German-hating Europhobic British tabloids for sale in Ireland are another matter.

A woman was walking down Grafton street when suddenly she noticed a massive sign on a shop window.

The sign displayed said, 'CLITORIS LICKING FROG, AVAILABLE INSIDE'

The woman was intrigued, she assumed the shop was some kid of exotic pet shop, and in all her life she never saw, not heard of this exotic need of frog, 'clitoris licking' .

Anyway, she entered the shop, which seemed to be pretty much empty, just a counter with a a man staning behind it.

She approached the counter and says to the man:

'excuse me sir, the sign on your window that says clitoris licking frog available inside, could you help me out?'

The man behind the counter looked her up and down, twiddled his moustache and said...
    Oui Madame.

Can't stand the accent. It's got to a point that I can't deal with more then 5 minutes of it. Think I might have issues..

The Bretons, who of course are of Celtic heritage, have a reputation amongst the wider French population for being alcoholics of Irish proportions!

Dont know if its the same as hate, but I did get great pleasure from them failing in that World Cup and subsequent sporting events.

Great country. Great cinema, great food, great people. A place and people who I have always admired. Anyone who believes the whole surrender monkey thing needs to read some books.

Presumably not books about WW2 though, right?

And I notice you didn't address the 'cheese eating' part of the phrase.

I think it's a stupid reason to hate anyone. If I was that put out by it I'd be hating a lot of lads from soccer when we were kids for doing the same things as well!

I didn't even know people hated the French football team, let alone the nation. For me all it did was highlight corruption in world football, something which was again in the news recently with piss-take decisions such as hosting the World Cup in a country where homosexuality is illegal(yes, illegal).

Has anyone been north of france? Its like going back to the 70's(which incidentally I wasn't alive then, but how i imagine it to be) and well if the 70's came with nike trackies and airmax. Seriously the nackers up there put irelands to shame! I used to think Ribery was the opposite of what French people looked like but up there there's Francks everywhere

The women are sexy and cool without even trying, the men think they are, the food is delicious, their wine is the best, their country is stunning, they've elegance, they've style, they've socialism....I even like their arrogance because they've every right to be. Viva la France!

Precisely books about WW2. The whole phrase is a US slur that has somehow been universally adopted as truth by everyone else.

Ireland denied themselves a spot at the world cup thanks to a gutless performance at home and not taking their chances in Paris.
