Hi myself and my wife have rented a house about six weeks ago in a different county as to where we were from origionally. the lease was signed for 5 years. However, my wife suffers with bipolar and has tried to commit suicide on several occasions. She had breast cancer some years back and it has now come back again together with a dreadful bout of depression. I have to fill you in on this firstly so you will know where I am coming from. However, we went to see the doctor and were advised to move back nearer the family and friends to help her through. I went to see the landlord and explained the situation. He is not very helpful as he constantly states I signed a lease. What are my rights or do I have any.
