So im crawling in a part of the attic in my house, that I havent been in before, (Its not a big house, I just dont like attics) and I come across this old looking clock. The badge inside the workings says Ansonia Clock Co. The wooden body is separating and the glass in the door is falling out, but unbroken. Any experts?

Lets call a spade a spade, I'm looking for what its worth. Nothing to me, so no emotional ties. You reckon you're in the know, on these clocks?

Without seeing the movement, I can tell you that it dates 1850-1930. Can't tell you what its worth without pics. Ansonia mass produced cheap clocks movements. Some were put into nice cases.. some not so nice.. Calling a spade a spade... you don't have a find. Am I in the know, yes, timepieces in general.

Cheers. I'll leave it where I found it so.
Are you familiar with Waltham pocketwatches? Turns out I have one from 1887, gold. Expensive watches?

Again there is plenty of info on Waltham online, large american watch company, made a lot of pocket watches. Do a search on ebay to get an idea what it's worth
