Dress for October Wedding

Hi all

I have a wedding in two weeks and I hoped you lot would be able to help me pick a dress.

I want a simple enough dress as I plan to wear these shoes http://www.barratts.co.uk/en/blink-spotty-platform-peep-toe-sandals-266207

This pic doesn't do them justice. I think a black dress or maybe red would look good.

I am size 14-16 on top and 12 on bottom due to my chest. I'd like something with a least a cap sleeve as I am conscious of my arms. Square necks seems to suit me best but anything that isn't too low is fine. I also like peplums as they cover my tummy. I find dresses with a bit of shape suit me best.

Any suggestions?

I think if you're wearing those shoes navy would probably be the best colour to wear with them. Peplum style could be good too.

Thanks Fits. Two problems though, the poka dots on the shoes are black and I cant really pull off high necks as my chest is quite big and high necks do nothing for them.

I will check out that site though.

Hiya as the shoes are detailed i would advise a simple fitted dress just below the knees. Awear usually do a range of them, wouldn't go for black.....i think a strong pink might work well too

Thanks Cobbyob. I never thought of pink! I did think a simple fitted dress would be best and I thought a contrasting colour would be nice so I will definitely look at some pinks!

I am going shopping this weekend so any other suggestions are appreciated!
