I was going to put this in to the best idea for your farm thread, but its worth discussing it on its own i think.

Has anyone got a few hens or ducks, that are at risk of Mink or foxes? well heres your answer! shouldnt cost you much at all!

only problem is, what to do when they are caught alive!
hope to try make one myself over the weekend.

How will the fox be enticed into the shopping trolley rather than chasing the hen?

Maybe you have to sacrifice one of your hens (for the greater good).

entice with some bait, either a bit of chicken, or fish maybe.
I would hope the hen isn't foolish enough to run into the cage!

didnt get to go to Lidl over the weekend by the way...:(

i keep my hen coop right beside the dogs kennels. no fox has ever been brave enough to get that close!
