    Hi All
Need a bit of urgent advice on a stainless steel cylinder purchase.
Cut a long sory short, plumber installed an incorrect copper cylinder to my pressurised system and it has sprung a leak.
Need to purchase a new pressurised stainless steel cylinder and to be honest I cant afford the 904 euro price I have been quoted after several calls.
I have came across this one on adverts for sale and was wonder if someone could tell me if it will suit. Need a dual coil for oil and back boiler.

Need to purchase this tomorrow as we now have very limited water in the house.

    Heres the link
    Short link: http://www.adverts.ie/1731172

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Rock
It looks as if this tank has only 3/4" coils, no good for back boiler
I don't see an immersion either. If you buy this tank you will have to add about €250 in fittings to install
Pm me for a few better prices on tanks

You could contact joule, google them tell them what system you have, they'll size it for you and if you need connections in certain places they'll even do that

Are you sure your domestic hot water system pressurised? most copper cylinders will not take pressure at all. the system could be pressurised with a pump after the hotwater cylinder

As ccsolar indicated the solid fuel must have a 1" coil

    Hi
My domestic system is definately pressurised. We had a lot of hassle with plumbers when we were building the house originally.
Had to get a new plumber in and we changed the fuel system from Gas to oil. Dont know what way he done it but it seems to be a bit of a maze. Plumber has sourced a cylinder for us so hopefully this will be the en to our problems.
Dont know why he made me order a copper cylinder as it cost the same as a proper stainless one at the time. He in oz now so cant even have a rant at him.
Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate it.
