Rose Bike Order

I'm about to order a cable for my B&M Ixon from RoseBikes. Thing is, the cable costs €7.95 but the postage will come to €8.95. My feeling is that adding a couple of small bits and pieces won't increase the postage. Anyone about to lash in an order and feel like splitting the postage?

I will have to order a tyre or two shortly, so I can add your toys into the order ;).

Actually in a bid to exploit the postage to the maximum extent I've decided to order a couple of bottles and some brake pads as well. I experimented with adding tyres to that order and the postage was still €8.95. When were you thinking of putting in your order? And, more importantly, are you based in Dublin?

Hmm, importantly you are not based in Kilkenny ;) and I am not based in Dublin, and that means some expenses on the way unfortunately. I may put an order for tyres any time soon or later. I am flexible and the tyres are always needed.

@ Seweryn: fair point, well made. Lookit, maybe I'll proceed solo for now. Otherwise this may end up costing you more in terms of time and money than we'd save on the initial postage.
