Hey folks, just wondering if anybody has any experience with sending bikes to France?

We're looking to do a Paris - Rotterdam cycle in April. We've looked a lot of options so far including; bikes in a van via ferry, bikes dismantled via plane etc.

The ideal option would be to pack the bikes in Dublin, ideally in one piece and not dismantled and send it to Paris where we fly into to collect.

Has anybody done something similar before? Whoe did they use? Was it expensive?

    Thanks

    Shane

Why would you not just take the bikes on the plane?

It´s the only way. One way by parcel post is abt €60 and as far as I know it must be delivered to a private residential address.
