Am wondering if anyone has done this in previous years? I did Flanders this year and am considering doing this next year. It'll all come down to budget and how well training for racing next season is going but I'd like to try and get a Monument a year done. I have a feeling there's another one, the Cyclo-Sportif, but it's later in the year and would clash with racing.

Thanks, sounds like Flanders except no climbing on cobbles and bigger cobbles.

How did the selection for groups work?

Haven't done this one but completed the 209km Paris Roubaix which is run every 2 years by the Roubaix Cycle Club http://www.vc-roubaix-cyclo.fr/site/ and the funds generated go to the upkeep of the cobbled sections. The next on isn't until 2014 but well worth doing.

Just put down on the entrance form that you've done Flanders, etc...

If you are a racing cyclist then put that down also.

They put those whom they understand from the entries to be the strongest to the front.
