On a serious note NUIM give you 3 or 4 condoms every wednesday, I've only had to use 2 of my own since I started, so most people are well protected from that.

Title of the article is, "1 in 4 teen girls has sexually transmitted disease".

Your maths isn't up to much if 1 in 4 = 50%.

Have a read of what they were saying about UCD in 2008. I doubt it's got much worse since then, when the figures were one in 10 (10%). They actually had bars on campus back then, unlike now.

Poor sex education in this country. In my entire academic life I was given ONE sex education class. Disgraceful.

I guess it has to do with the church and how it's still a taboo to talk about sex in most households.

Yeah just thinking about two of the common ones-Herpes and Genital Warts.

About 1 in 5 (or 20% if my Maths is correct) of women have genital herpes.

That coupled with about 50% of people getting genital warts at some stage in their lives means that a lot of people are walking around with itchy pants
