hard to start

    is my computer dying.
    I have been having intermittent problems getting started,when i switch on some of the time just gets as far as the microsoft toolbar which just stays going have left this on for hours,sometimes if you switch of the power supply and a screen will come up to tell you it did not shut down properly if you take the option of start windows normally it will start other times you start in the safe mode and do a system restore help please

    Could be bad capacitors on the motherboard. if it's freezing which starting up at various points that could be the issue. Open it up and check for bulging/leaking capacitors: picture.
