I was very drunk last night and have been feeling nothing but guilt all day. I vaguely remember the taxi home and I remember my pick up and drop off points. I am just wondering is it possible from the taxi regulator or whatever to find out who drove me and ring him. I woke up in my own house but I'd love to get more exact details such as exact pick up times. I feel really bad and hope someone can help.

What would be the point of doing this? You're hardly going to feel better are you?? Why are you getting so drunk anyway?

I'm assuming you're female? I like a drink, but I've never been so pissed that I can't get home, for obvious reasons...

If you don't want to feel so bad next time, then don't get hammered! Simple.

OP you have the fear, it'll blow over. The fear makes your mind work in weird ways. What exactly are you feeling guilty over? I bet if you think logically, there is nothing. It's all caused by the alcohol.

Go get yourself something fatty and carby to eat, slob in front of the TV and try to relax.

I have to limit my alcohol consumption because I feel the same as you do now after a night out, even if I never get to the point of being really drunk. Maybe look at what you can drink and look at your limits again. You might need to change your drinking habits.

I feel guilty and I want to ring to apologise and just to make sure I went straight home. I literally cannot remember what happened but I remember waking up in my bed and I remember being in a coloured mans taxi. I'm very nervous that I could have been in trouble with the guards, theres nothing to suggest I did but I feel a chat with him would clear it up. And its depression thats leading me to drink but thats for another day.

:) If you were in trouble with the guards you'd either know about it now, or it's nothing out of the ordinary for them. Maybe telling you to move along or something.

Putting the taxi regulator through the trouble of finding the taxi? I don't think they'd help you at all. Drivers are used to having all sorts in their cars, at worse he might have a funny story or 2 about you :p

    Honestly, you'll feel better later.

OP, this is an advice forum for posters to get advice on issues they are experiencing in their personal lives, rather than track down taxis or taxi firms to piece together the previous night's events.

If you think were in trouble, I suggest contacting your local station and asking them. You might also consider contacting your GP about both your depression and alcohol consumption.

    All the best

    MC Homicidal Maniac,
