    Hey All,

Does anyone know of a drop in Krav Maga class in Dublin? I want to learn some self defence and I heard it's one of the most useful and easy to learn as it uses all the bodies natural reflexes. However, any classes I've seen are ridiculously expensive and you have to buy them in blocks or you have to join a particular gym which is not good value for me at it's the only thing I'd be interested in, not into threadmills or any of that.

So yeah if any of you could point me in the right direction I'd be much obliged.

    Many thanks,
    C.

Forget Krav Maga if you want to pay as you go and join a Thaiboxing or mma club

Bridgestone MuayThai are in stoneybatter 7euro per class

Kyuzo in glasnevin mma 10euro per class

Agreed Dka e80, KM is hyped up and over rated.

Don't believe the hype about Krav Maga, and their's no easy way to learn how to defend yourself any more than there is an easy way to learn a language, it takes hard, consistent training at least 3 nights a week. I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I'd honestly say that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the best, but it's hard training for the first few months as you will get submitted time and time again until you start to get the head around it.

I don't know any pay as you go KM in Dublin. These guys, http://www.selfdefence.ie, allow you to pay monthly with the cost varying depending on how many times a month you want to train. It's not what you're looking for but it's the only one I've seen that doesn't require signing up to a course.

I've never done KM so I know nothing about them but you can pay for a trial class with no obligations meaning you can at least give it a shot and decide for yourself if it's what you want to do.

Thanks for answering the OP's question.

OP I hope you find a KM class you enjoy, if you do please let the forum know how you're getting on with your training.

Without any experience what so ever some of the people in this forum are experts on KM, don't let them put you off if you enjoy it.
