ROX Rocky breeder?

I was talking to a lad last night that claims to have bred THE famous bull Rocky

As the herd name prefix does not feature in his name now since he was bought by NCBC and used in AI, I can't find out if this lad is BS'ing me or not!!

Does anybody know who bred him?? Or even his original herd name?

buddy of mine had a rocky bull. was looking at the cert one night. he was chatting to the lad that bred his bull and he got AI straws. yer man was saying that rocky orgianally came from a big breeders yard in france
