    anybody at ennis mart today for the suckler dipersal sale..didnt get a chance to go, some herd

    we bought weanlings there , a big sale and I think there was a lot of customers there for the cows

    was anxious to get away & din;t see the cows selling


    some rain fell there about 1 o'clock and a shot of hail stones for good measure

    thankfully it wasn't anything as bad here at home

    How was weanling trade? A buyers sale or a sellers sale?

    well I was on a difficult mission... buying for my daughter who is fairly choosy and doesn't like to spend too much :rolleyes:

    all heifers . (bought some in the runners ring so no weights)

    CH €585 guessing about 250 kgs
    BB €575 guessing about 230 kgs
    Black lm 260 kgs €575
    CH 290 Kgs €645

    bought 9 in total and they averaged about €595, considering their quality I didn't think they were too dear.
