I have 0 experience with Azboxes however please see the best definition I could find for Putty.

PuTTY is a free and open source terminal emulator application which can act as a client for the SSH, Telnet, rlogin, and raw TCP computing protocols and as a serial console client. The name "PuTTY" has no definitive meaning,[1] though "tty" is the name for a terminal in the Unix tradition, usually held to be short for Teletype.

You would use putty to connect to your Azbox via ssh or telnet for example.

You would open Putty enter the IP of your device, choose the connection type and hit connect. Once connected you can run a series of commands on your device.
