    I know nothing about GAA.

    Can anyone tell me roughly how much a County manager of a senior hurling team would earn in a year.

    Yes I can. Brian Cody, greatest manager of all time earns zilch, zero, nada, €0.

    However, are there county managers who do earn a salary and if so, how much are we roughly talking?

    Haha this thread will soon be stopped. Its an amateur game don't u know!! The likes of Micko never get a cent, it was all down to his love of Wicklow football!

    No. It is a genuine question. I heard that some receive payment and I would like to know roughly how much that is.

    I heard a figure of 50,000 but that was from roughly 10 years ago so not sure if it was in €'s or Punt's.

    The GAA is an amatuer organisation and managers don't get paid directly, they do however get expenses, if you wish to know how much specific managers get I would recommend getting a copy of a counties accounts and look through them.

    I don't see any point to have this thread left open.
