The Murphy v O' Connell fight will be interesting. It's a long time since i've heard of Eoghan fighting but he has plenty of experience.

Ye Eoghan 'Duracell Bunny' Murphy is now livimng in Madrid the last couple of years but has come home a couple of times to train, but wants to fight in another Armageddon again. He flys back to Dublin tomorrow to finish his training for this fight. Should be a good one a former champion and acurrent champion battling it out. :p

Yeah, can't wait to see that one myself. Both very smart fighters. Should be a cracker.

From what I have seen of O' Connell he's more of a brawler than a techncal fighter, its been years since i seen Eoghan fight and at that fight he got stopped in the 2nd round by Liam Racktoo. Hopefully Eoghan can do the biz. Why is'nt it A class Donkey holds the title and Eoghan has fought at that level.

Think it's Eoghan's first fight in a while (open to correction).

Anyone know the running order ??

Usually isn't put together until the last day or so to work around last minute pullouts or card/weight changes.
I'd imagine Khannie vs Tony will be on fairly late being an 'A' class fight though if that's the one you were wondering about

Anyone any idea if Aslan won? Had to leave after the Meleady fight. Good night though.

Yeah Aslan won. Very impressed with Brian actually as I wasn't expecting it to go the distance but it did in the end. Great fight

Well done to Bridgestone Gym on Putting on a great show Saturday night and the new WMC European Champion, Stephan Meleady on a great win, Great fighter Great Winning against Orhan Erden of Turkey the WMC/EMF Number one ranked Fighter,
This will really open doors now for Stephan on the World stage and pushes him in to the top 10 in the World at his weight class and push him to the next step on his way to become World Champion

With regaurds to Aslan Vs Brian
Big well done to the new Irish Champion Aslan on a great win, Saturday night, Aslan was just to strong for Brian on the night, we trained to a plan to beat Aslan it just got a little off rail by that sweet punch that gave Brian the count in the 2nd Fair play to Brian who was up like a light even though he got caught clean,
The famous Quote by Joe Louis comes to mind
‘’ Everyone boxer has a Plan till they get hit ‘’
Brian is only 18 and has a plenty of time to improve and tone his skills and get stronger, and become a Champion him self in time, the only way to become a champion is to beat a champion fighter which Aslan proved he was on Saturday night.

I thought Tony Olin was excellent, fighter of the night for me, lovely style and techinque as well as very accurate timing.

My boy gonna have his hands full on the 24th.

Thanks paddy. Looking forward to fighting Sean again on the 24th. Made a few stupid mistakes in that fight that I won't be making again! I'm sure you'll have a good game plan aswell so I'm expecting another tough fight!

    Tony
