Question about Galaxy Nexus power adaptor

I ordered a Galaxy Nexus off Amazon.de thinking I was great that I was saving a few Euro over Amazon.co.uk. However it arrived this morning but the power adaptor is two pins instead of three. I completely forgot that they might be using a different set up over there. I notice it's basically a bog standard usb cable going into the travel adapter with the two pin plug. Can I use any old three pin adapter I have lying around or should I exercist caution and purchase a proper one off eBay please? Thank you for any assistance my friends! :)

I bought one from amazon.de too - and the 3 pin usb adapter I had lying around works fine.

Also, it's just a micro usb cable, if you have any others laying around they will do just as good a job.

  • Yeah I know that....it's the lack of a three pin adapter that's causing me trouble mate.
