Might be something respitory, any snotty noses or increased temperatures?

dirty noses alright and another wet night past.

think I'll house them a couple of days and maybe a jag of LA alamycin would be in order.

    Sounds like a plan...
Had something similar but the alamycin wouldn't shift it, got vet out and she prescribed CTC powder for a week... Its 99% cleared after that..

Get an easy breather mineral lick. They are like fishermans friends, but only for cattle.

I have used them and found them good. I had a shed 30 * 30, all straw with feeding rail at front. About 20 of the smallest weanlings in it. There is a lovely smell from them. One can look to far into things, but whatever went in there, usually came out!!!

Respichlor. Not approved for animals over 6 months old.
Like everyone else in this thread, I find the Spring calves to have constant snotty noses and the odd cough, despite regular worming, plenty of feed and grass etc. No temps. Presume it's just a head cold? Weather has been tough on them.
I used Respichlor a few weeks ago and it cleared up, but it's coming back again. Bloomin' nuisance as you'd be afraid they'll develop pneumonia.
Vaccinated all with Bovipast and IBR just in case. Will probably house once weather gets any worse...if that's possible!
