You need to apply for and pass a theory test (no minimum age limit). When you reach 16 years of age you can apply for a category 'W' Learner Permit.

Instant when you go to a tax office.

Do you have to do a driving test for a tractor? What's involved?

That's what I thought myself but when I checked the FAQs in this forum it said no minimum age. I thought perhaps it had changed! It was definitely 15 at one time.

That's ridiculous wishbone. So if someone aged 13 decided to do it, they still can't apply for any category as it will expire when their 15. Another cracker from dtt
