Funds Industry - exit required

    Working in the funds industry for about 7 yrs - need a change of direction.

    Anyone any experience of getting out of funds into another industry?

    All options considered.

    I was quite literally about to post the exact same thing, I'm there 5 years though ... and this isn't helpful to you at all.

    Have you any preferences on where you would like to be? Any direction you would like to go in?

    What qualifications have you got?

    have a business degree, looking to do some evening course to broaden my horizons,
    ideally want to stay in finance, but need to get out of funds, it has to be the most sole destroying industry ever invented

    anyone have experience of getting in to some VC backed ventures that are about

    Have you looked at doing the ACCAs? Have a look in the accountancy forum for more info. Would definitely open more doors for you but then again might not be what your thinking of.
