Any news on the ncdl website when will it be up and running?

in our first league game the pitcher threw for tops and his second dart hit double five and he checked....the caller from his own team said his second dart was in double five but his first dart was in tops so awarded him the leg, is this correct or was he bust..would like to know for future reference thanks

As far as I know its bust he should have called game if the first dart was in tops .the second dart counted as 50 .u should have said something if u were unsure .was it a important game ?

The double top still stands as game shot whether it was called promptly or not .

5.11.07 Any dart or darts mistakenly thrown by a Player after scoring the Game Shot shall not be counted as the respective leg, set or match is concluded by the Game Shot.

we were 4-1 up at the time and had won the first leg in the 6th so it did feel like a turning point as the lad lost his way after that and we ended up 4-4 with neither team playing particularly well it was probably a fair result but the lads on the other team were adamant the tops should stant and with a board member on their side how could we argue.....ah well on to the next match but still unsure about what should have happened

According to DRA rules the double tops counted whether it was spotted before the next shot or not. Any dart thrown after the winning shot is to be disregarded. Bad caller and marker though not to spot it. Is the board well lit?

yeah the board was ok ......seems to be general consensus that the first dart in tops should stand and i am of the same opinion myself but good to know for future reference....thanks

Awaiting in the register365 to approve the ncdl.ie name - all is bought and ready to go but they are very picky about letting People use .ie, it will be up when they have cleared it.
