    Hi.

    I have the above tractor, she wont select 2nd or 3rd gear ,it just feels solid! 1st and reverse is grand. hi/low is fine too. pto is enaging/disengaging ok. I have read about them getting "stuck in gear" this is a different kettle of fish .

    Any help would be much appreciated

    I think Micks point was that even though you managed to solve the problem yourself, if you posted the solution, it might help the next person with the same issue.

    Boards is give and take. If it's all take then there is no benefit to anyone.

    Been a long time since I had this problem!

    There is normally a rubber cover where the gearstick connects to the gearbox, slide this up out of the way. There is then a pin that holds the gearstick in place, remove the pin, this then allows you to pull the gearstick out be maybe an inch you can then use the end of the gearstick to manipulate the selectors back into there correct positions.

    Takes a bit of trail and error at the start, but once masters is quick and easy todo..

    This is just how I used todo it, there may be other ways...
