    Hello All,

Anyone could suggest a fun and friendly message for wedding invitations, taking into account that the parents' name will not appear on them but that we don't want to go into the traditional "First-name Middle-name Last-name and First-name Middle-name Last-name request the pleasure of your presence blah blah blah." :D

    Thanks a lot!

Ours are invites from the kids, i.e.:

[Master Mini-Sleepy and Miss Mini-Sleepy] "invite you to join them for the wedding of Mr Sleepy and Mrs Sleepy

we did the same thing with ours. we did not want formal invites so we had our invites like this

    first names
would like to invite ____ to join us in the celebration of our marriage.
    time
    date location
    rsvp deadline

kept it short sweet and to the point

"<Nickname> & <Nicknamette> are getting hitched and having a bit of a shindig. Your inebriation is required on <date> at <place>"

I'm going for our first names so "PinkLadee and MrPinkLadee together with their parents" so covers all bases :-)
