Clean white wheels

So after the meet I gave the pug a good wash.
Spent a bit of time on the wheels but 2 of them are a bit off colour. Presumably down to ingrained brake dust.

Any tips on getting them back?

I generally avoid wheel cleaners as they can do more harm than good imo.
But it's looking like I'll have to use something...

But should white wheels be treated any different to silver?

    Cheers.

Did my own wheels the other day,I've an old bottle of wonder wheels somewhere but couldn't find it so I purchased a bottle of the same stuff but a "new" formula, much better and supposedly much less acidic, spray on leave for about 5 mins and you can actually see the crap rolling off, just to add I didn't use this on the face of the wheels I usually give them a quick once over every second day so they don't get a build up of crap it was just on the rear of the wheel's that I can't reach,it's worth a try if your's are bad then to finish them off 2 coats of a good wax, I use collinite 476s

If you can't get iron x, turtle wax ice is similar.
