    Hi all,
I have heard of people updating their kitchen by simply painting their cabinets.
I have wooden effect laminated doors and some are a little worse for wear such as the presses next to the oven. Here the laminate is rising up and flaking off.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with taking this laminate off and then painting the doors.
    All advise greatly appreciated!
    :)

Whats under the laminate? Is it chipboard?
Can you post a couple of pics.. You might be able to paint over the laminated surface if you use a good primer to etch it and provide grip for your finish paint.
