Heading down to west Cork this morning a few of us came upon a nasty tip just past halfway on the road to innishannon. Touch of wheels in a group and 2 of them were down, one sitting up but one on the road and was being looked after by a few from the group.
We stopped to see if we could help but they had it all in hand, they had contacted an ambulance and were doing what they could, fair dues to a few drivers who pulled over to help out. Hope that its nothing too serious and there's no permenant damage done.

Came within a whisker of a car tipping me today. Coming down Molls Gap and an impatient Opel behinh me got impatient in not being able to pass me on the descents after Ladies View ... that's just the way it is coming down there and nothing can be done about it!! But he got the hump and tore past me before a bad bend and had to cross back across my front wheel before jamming on brakes again....

I tell ya... I looked for him on all the usual tourist stops (Torc etc) but he not there....I would have let him know that he came close to killing me. A right bleep bleep bleep of a driver... I swear I would have swung if him if he stopped... he would have seen my finger jestures in his rear view mirror and would have known he done wrong.

+1 and the sooner the better and let us know how you get on. Sometimes with the Garda it depends who you meet at the station.

I talked about it on another thread. Cretin threw a half full drink can at me today in Dunshaughlin. Missed me. Hit back wheel. Going slow enough so stayed aboard. Looks like all the muppets were out today..

I have a happy memory of years ago, coming down Dame Street at a fair clip. A scruffy young lad stepped out on the path in front of me and spat straight in my face, a good gollyer. Unfortunately, I had the tailwind, and saw his gollyer attach itself phlegmily to his face as I whipped past.
