    i know the lads in fermoy have one going on in october but does anyone know of any that did not manage to get on cycling ireland?

    thanks lads, i will give the valley wheelers one and the fermoy ones a go for sure. probably ride out of cork and do them making each day's cycle around the 160km mark.

    i was also thinking about the killarney to cork one tomorrow, but riding from cork first. bit concerned about the stretch after macroom through ballymakeery
    till the road opens up a bit. dodgy enough on your own but with a group coming back? me wonders.

    just saw this, did not do the killarney cork, too wet this morning for a longish slog on me own. but to answer your question, most groups travel more in the 25 kph plus range, pending wind and elevations
