Throws up mostly seven year old threads. Some of the shops have probably closed in that time.

Besides, the guy is new....give him a break.

OP, welcome to "Boards. Some you could check out are :

X Music, : Goodwins (Capel St), : Musicmaker- Exchequer St : Someneck Guitars : Guitar Centre :

The staff ? There have been numerious threads (negative) on this forum about the staff in some music shops.

Personally, I can vouch that the staff in Goodwins, Guitar Centre, and Someneck are gents.

If you Google the sites, you'll get all the info you require.

Would have been just as easy and quick to post once, and list off one or two shops for the OP. :p

Some Neck Guitars is the best shop in Dublin city, possibly the country
so good in fact that I avoid it at the behest of my wallet supervisor!

    Jimi's music-store is also excellent

You can't beat jimi's imo, have a snoop around xmusic (it's only down the road) and then buy whatever in jimi's.

I always find xmusic a good catalog for browsing when i'm buying in jimis :D

This could be Guitar Fix. Search for it and you'll find a lot of negative reports.
