My standard sky box has died, probably goig to replace it with a sky+ box,

I have a number of sky remotes, I know they may be missing a few functions but will these work with the sky+ box at all

    Hi AdrianR

You can reprogram most Sky remotes to work with a different box to the one intended although a basic remote may not work with all functions of Sky+ or HD . Have a look HERE to see how it's done. Alternatively, replacement RCs are relatively cheap on eBay and several Irish sellers have them.

    Hope this helps.

Great info thanks, at least this means I won't have to get several of them, I'll get one sky+ and use the old ones for remote eye locations.
