Nintendo Gamer have done a comparison between Fifa 12 and Fifa 13 on the Wii. Bit disgusted by it to be honest.

I appreciate the difference between yearly releases on Fifa can be minimal, but to release a glorified update as a full price game seems to go a step too far.

I know its probably the worst version of the game out there, but there are some people who only have the one console to play it on. I think even later PS2 versions, at the very end of that console, had some changes in game play and not just player name updates.

Surely this reinforces how little the old gold nintendo seal means on the cover of games, that they allow crap like this on their console.

Evidence of how little EA think of Wii owners

They've done the exact same for the Vita version. Kinda glad I went for PES this time around.

Bad and all as this is, isn't there something fishy with the Wii U version too? Think its just a glorified version of FIFA 12 as well? Anyone confirm?

In fairness it's old hat to say the yearly updates of FIFA were minimal, they used to be but the last few years has seen a lot of significant changes and some years (09-10) very big changes. Havent played the new one on Wii, but on 360 there's a good few changes this year that add to it.

Yep, same graphics, but plays quite differently with touchscreen malarkey, I think.

plays the exact same. the touchscreen stuff i optional. you can turn it off and its the very same as ps3/xbox 360 fifa 13. the gamepad stuff is for more casual players to hop in with asymmetric experiences while someone else is actually playing properly
